I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my fantastic experience with AKC Roofing. I had a water leak in the ceiling of an upstairs bedroom that I discovered the night before my family and I were heading out of town for vacation. I scoured the internet to try to find a company that handled emergency roofing repairs. My wife found AKC Roofing on a Facebook Moms group so I called, left a message, and not even an hour later (at close to 11 pm) I had a text from Alex, the owner, telling me he could get someone out in the morning. One of his workers showed up first thing, and after thoroughly looking in the attic and on the roof, he identified the issue. Pictures were texted to me so I could see the problem area. Since they didn't have our roof shingles on hand, they tarped the section with a high-quality tarp and came back when the weather cleared up to do the repairs. Alex sent along pictures of all the repair work while I was on vacation. The issue ended up being a result of how the roof was installed by a different company seven years ago.The week we returned from vacation we experienced ANOTHER leak, this time coming from a vent that hadn’t been properly secured by the original roofers. The next day AKC came out and identified and fixed the issue.With two separate leaks within a span of weeks, we scheduled AKC to do a full inspection of our roof. Alex personally came out and did this. He sealed up several areas, fixed some flashing, and installed perma-boots around several pipes.I am extremely thankful I came across this company. I found Alex to be extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Even though we discovered our roof had a 10-year workmanship warranty from the previous company, we still went with AKC Roofing because of their exceptional service. Plus, their pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable. I would recommend AKC Roofing to anyone who needs work done on their roof.

Can’t say enough good things about Alex and AKC Roofing. We have a large picture frame window on a 20 foot wall in our living room that would leak during heavy storms when the rain would blow against the window. We’d seal up the window after each leak and it would hold for a while but then randomly leak again after time would pass. Last weekend we had a major storm blow through and the leak found its way around the caulking and actually poured through the wall. With the incoming rain forecasted for the following week we knew we’d need a permanent fix and fast. We reached out to Alex on Sunday morning and within 30 minutes we’d received a text and he’d scheduled to come out the following day. The next day Alex showed up promptly and spent a great deal of time investigating the roof and window thoroughly to determine the source of the leak. He provided us a quote on the spot and actually had a crew out the next day to make the repairs and install new flashing. As the storm came through the following day, Raleigh received historical levels of rainfall and we had absolutely 0 issues with our window. We are so thankful that we reached out to Alex and the team at AKC Roofing. They epitomize customer service and we would highly recommend them for any roof, window, siding installation or repairs you may ever need.

When we noticed a leak in our ceiling after the tropical storm came through, we contacted AKC last weekend not expecting a response until Monday. They responded almost immediately and were out a few days later. The price was more than reasonable and they were able to fix it the very next day. AKC Roofing hang the Christmas lights for my home for December 2024. They did such a professional job it was noticed by many in the community and everyone spoke so highly of how beautiful the lights looked. Alex, the owner and Alex, his brother-in-law both put the lights up in a very timely manner. In additional, they could not have been nicer. They were so polite, thoughtful and imaginative. The original plan of outlining the front door and around the garage ( besides, of course, the lights all around the house) had to be changed due to concern about the application used for that would damage the exterior area on the house surface. So Alex was ever so creative in lining the curved sidewalk coming up to the house. It turned out perfect and was so inviting as you walked up to the house. Everything was executed so perfect and remained that way for the several weeks the lights were on every night. Then…they came back and removed all the lights and will store them for me till next year. We have agreed that Christmas 2025 Christmas lights are to be done by AKC roofing because they do the job perfectly, professionally, reasonable price for the excellent quality of work and then storing them for the customer till the following Christmas.
